Formulaction is now part of Microtrac ú piacvezető cég a szemcsevizsgálat területén

The VERDER Group has acquired the French company Formulaction SA. As part of the group's Scientific Division, Formulaction is integrated into Microtrac, a leading manufacturer of Particle Characterization Systems.

Formulaction is a recognized innovator in the field of laboratory equipment for analyzing Dispersion Stability, Shelf-Life, and Dispersibility. The addition of Formulaction to the Microtrac portfolio creates a comprehensive suite of instrumentation for materials characterization practitioners.

This merger adds Formulaction’s TURBISCAN product line to Microtrac’s established, leading portfolio of brands including SYNC Laser Diffraction, NANOTRAC Dynamic Light Scattering, CAMSIZER Dynamic Image Analysis, and BELSORP Gas Adsorption Analysis.

Since its creation, the TURBISCAN range has become a must-have in dispersion stability analysis. TURBISCAN was the first patented technology to provide tools that allow for accelerated aging tests on unstressed products, thus becoming a reference for direct stability characterization technology. TURBISCAN is supported by the application of Static Multiple Light Scattering (SMLS), an optical method allowing direct characterization of native concentrated liquid dispersions.

The product range includes the Turbiscan Stability Index (TSI), a specific parameter developed for formulators to compare and characterize the physical stability of various formulations with the ease of a single click and an output of a single, comparable, and replicable number.

Microtrac’s and Formulaction’s combined technologies provide the widest portfolio of particle and material characterization solutions.
