Various functional materials (porous and non-porous) are used in many fields such as environmental, energy, pharmaceutical, and aerospace industries, and characterization of these materials is essential. Especially, catalyst evaluation by gas adsorption method is one of the most important data for catalyst material development.
In this seminar, for beginners, the necessity of catalyst evaluation, outline of measurement, and analysis method based on the measurement will be explained in detail with explanation of terminology and examples of analysis of actual measured data. Dr. Naonobu Katada of Tottori University, who is widely active in the field of zeolite both in Japan and abroad, will give an invited lecture on the acidic quality of zeolite and its analysis method on the first day of the seminar.
